Well, 1.1.0.9 sucks. It messed up the connection times, and it made the stats so messed up, I can't find the guy I was trying to report for llamaism. And it's not a WONID anymore, it's a SteamID? I'm so confused.

CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That freegin server that I was getting the DL from (77 meg) went down 3 times.... fine it starts where it left off. But now it seems the site has crashed. It won't come up anymore. And, the DL here at the Ville is not cooperating either. *sigh*

AMEN TO THAT!!!!!!!!!! If not... anyone knows a good counter-strike update site because i can't dl from this site becuse of the problem i explained in my other post in FAQ"Problems downloading from this site" or something like that.

ARGH!!! Counter-strike is making me so mad...

1. i have to find a place that isnt booked so i can download it

2. Then i have to dl 33megs or something like that w/ my great 56k modem w/AOL.

BTW...It will take about 5 hours or so!!!!

3. I have to install it on my p2 433 megahertx comp w/ 64megs of ram

The patch is only 11 mb, why are you dling the 77 full update? If you were running at 1108 you only need the patch?

Because the patch isn't installing right, for everyone. I, for one, am having problems and OBH had problems, but different than mine....

Did they even test the patch before it came out?

Well, not everyone, mine worked just fine. That sucks though, nothing is more frustrating when they do that. My recommendation to try is to copy your maps, sounds, configs to a different area, uninstall HL, then reinstall and run the full update. When my patches have gone south thats what Ive done and usually always fixes it.

I am having issues too and it really sucks. If you want this POS patch get it at fileplanet.com. I bought one of there memberships and it is well worth it for the downloading i do.

I hope I can get things running soon

looks like most of the problems peopel have is just with their configs.. all new patches overwrite your configs, so you gotta back them up. Oh, and lin.. you can't use dll hacks anymore... it completely blocks any loaders or hooks.
