great idea, until they cap cp2 and people start using the portals to spawn camp. Plus if you build a dispenser on the location you can stop enemies from getting through rather easily. Seems more detremental than positive IMO

I just tried it, and my fears were right... I really don't think they have a place in TV1... maybe in like tv4 where we aren't as dedicated to pure simple avanti. So far here's what I see the portals doing:

1. Getting people stuck in the wall
2. Getting people stuck in each other
3. Being used to camp
4. Being used to cheaply get away
5. Being used to annoy goldom

they are annoying i was running w/ flag into pt 1 and it poofed me up onto ramp... if you keep em make them so you actually ahve to touch the wall

These were put up just to test. Of course they are gonna be buggy, they haven't been tweaked. There's alot you can do with them. Alot of different places to teleport too. Like have one at the bottom of the well that teleports you to the sniper tower or to the little room by 3. Or have one that transports you from The Generals shoe to Command point 2. There are alot of thing that can be done. This was just a test. They aren't permanent.

Um, things that could be done-
-Make a longer teleport
-Make them Two Way

I dunno about this telly pads. I keep having recurring nightmares of evil admin's randomly creating telly pads drop me into violent area's (such as under that cliff on command point 3.) They sound like a lot of fun once they get out of the beta stage. Could really shift the power in favor of defense or offense. I'm in favor of keeping them...I think. It'll keep us on our toes.

I kept getting teleported at the worst times. tryin to take out the sg above the ladder and throwing my big grenade then back away and boom im up there and get takin out either by the sg or the grenade i just threw. I guess it would just take getting used to.
