Ditto on the vid card. A 9600Xt would be better than the 9800SE. Also, Celerons aren't the best for gaming. If you can afford it, get a regualr P4.

Actually the C isnt for Celeron, its the for the Northwood line of CPUs, the newest batch are called Prescotts and are followed by a E. The previous P4s were Bs and A's.

Here is a example of whats changed.

2.4A (Didnt exist, but if it did) 400mhz bus
2.4B Did exist, 533mhz Bus
2.4C 800mhz Bus
2.4E 800mhz bus, more onboard cache.

The E didnt really give you anything that the C couldnt except for more heat and it allowed Intel to build faster CPUs.

And the prescotts are slower clock for clock than northwoods anyway.

ty for this... i've asked some people and nobody knew what the letters were for ( my board can support up to 2.8 p4) and i dind't know what the letters were. i thought it was a grade... like A best and C average and all that... this blows my mind and goes against everything i learned on a school report card. So you mean to say that the better CPU's are the higher letters?!?!?!?!
