oh and stubs is great! love using that on my chicken fingers... lol and whats rubs?..... ribs?

for once... its not a typo its actually meant to be rubs. Its jsut something you rub on the meat before you cook it, it can be dry or a sauce.

yeah you can get all kinds of different marinades and bbq sauces with wine or alcoholic beverages in it. they arent alcoholic because 99% of the alcohol either a) is cooked off when you cook it b) is not there when they make it. i like the jack daniels grilling sauce. its a fav of mine. but it doesnt just have to be jd. i know their are plenty of others out there. you can get sauce with wine, whiskey, beer, basically anything you alcoholics desire at the moment.

eh, it wont give you a buzz, but you can solve that fairly easy

We experimented with a Jack Daniels Sauce/marinade this weekend on some ribs. It turned out well so I will have to get that recipe to you, as you could use it on any type of meat.

As for tips....

Cast Iron grates are best. (If new, coat with Crisco and bake in oven @400 for like an hour)

Then if you are grilling something that you don't want to have stick badly, you can spray or brush the grill with olive oil (or something of the like).

Always pre heat and get it nice and hot, then cook on lower temps.

For fast preparing of meats I normally use Worcestershire sauce, garlic pepper and Tony's Chachere's Creole seasoning (that is only available in certain states though, or use to be), but pick some up if you can cause it makes all things good. If it is chicken you can soak it in Italian dressing for a quick marinade. It also helps tenderize it.

Speaking of all things good.... butter can make anything good. And Garlic butter is even better.

BBQ=Steak or anything Beef
Chicken is for something else, but it ain't BBQ's...its kind of like going to a good steak house and then ordering Soup or Shrimp.

What about Turkey?

Why is it that you do not dig buk buk on the grill? Or is it that you just don't dig chicken period?

I loves me some grilled buk buk.

To me, if you grill it, it's BBQ.

Veggies, eggs, sausage, Sully, fish, etc etc It's all yummy on the grill.

Ok so more clarification is needed on the buk buk topic.

I like chicken, I like turkey, sausage, pork, beef, shrimp, veggies....etc etc.

Giving a choice though I do not like grilling chicken, because you might as well just throw it in the oven to make it, and at the last minute put some stuff on it...because guess what....thats what its gonna taste like, so to me its kind of a waste to grill it because it basically ends up tasting like whatever sauce/rub you add to it. That said, if you are truly BBQ'n then that's cool and chicken is good because of the smoke, charcoal, and wood taste that comes through.

So in closing, poultry "good" on a true BBQ, "bad" when grilling. I hope we are clear now
