The reason that I said quit yer moanin is that in the UK we've had high petrol (sorry...gas) prices for the past forever - according to shaft's maths $4/gallon

Letsee 80p/litre = $1.26/litre (This is unleaded btw)
1 gallon = 3.785 litres
1.26*3.785= $4.76/US Gallon

| You Canadians may pay a bit more for gas, but your health plan is covered by your gov't, which makes extremely inexpensive giving you plenty of extra money for gas. BTW you guys drive cars up there? I thought everyone had dogsleds. |

Paid 69.9 a liter on Friday. Thats $2.65 a gallon Canadian and about about $1.78 a gallon so I dont feel all that bad now.
Mind you that was with a deal at the pump, normal price is 76.9.
I still remember when gas was down to 40 cents a litre, ah the good ole days.
Sorry Greebo, we all know that the governments on your side of the pond grab so much in taxes off fuel purchases that its insane. They can get away with this because they took away all the guns along time ago and now the population is too meek to rise up and overthrow the leaders of the madness.
Of course Canada and the US are not far behind. Time to go live in the bush and quit paying taxes to the greedy governments.
