I know this should be in the City council meeting but it would not allow me to do a poll.

I think we should bring the Spam sound back!! i can say i miss it how about others?

Spam's disappeared? Aw, how else will I know that I've annoyed someone with my random showering of blueness?
Ironic is, that this was probably the most used and therefore the most spammed sound.

I still don't understand why we limit use of the sounds. Does it really matter if people spam them? I have never seen it get too out of hand, and even then, I can't imagine that it would be too bad. What is the reasoning for this?

I can imagine only that it would be to stop the sounds from drowning out all the dial-up folks. Consider that some of them are 88kbps - that's about 1/7 of the entire download capability of people on 56k. Not too drastic on the occasional use, but if someone were to spam it senselessly, those modems would catch fire.
