Hey all, Your friendly neighborhood fuzzy little Star Wars Guy here. Is it just me, or are those of us over 18 in the minority? It seems that all of the posters besides most of the {TVB} guys and a few others are about 12. Am I alone in feeling dated? Just wondering, Happy Fragging, Snaggletooth

Actually we have a wide varied of age. We have a good showing from the sub 18 yo and a group of 20 somethings and actually big group of guys in their 30s and 40s. Maybe even older. If you can find an old post that we talk about were everybody hails from you will see many people disclose their age as well.

Well I'm not the oldest but not by much. I believe I'm in the top 3. I think Killer may be the youngest regular player. If not he's real close I heard someone say they were 8 but I diden't recognize his name.

If I dont tell you later I'll tell you now... Happy Birthday Rata

I could name some peeps that are under 15. Some I know around 16-19. Then there is a spree of twenty somethings, that include myself, that are going to college or are out and working etc. Then there is ROOF's catagory, the mature people that can kick a$$ on-line.

It is interesting to know the age of some of the people you play against. A lot of times you can tell their age by the way they act, and by their comments on the post. For the most part all the regulars display themselves well, regaurdless of age.

I can't believe it, but ROOF has me beat by 5 years! Count em' 5! Holy cow a bunch of old men playing internet computer games!! It's shameful I tell ya.

Hangs head in shame but still pulls the pin on a 'nade and throws it!

DOH!

Clue -- I was in Vietnam and was 7 years old during the "Tet" Offensive and turned 8 during the middle of that same year.

How old am I?

P.S. I had friends (adults) that were captured in that offensive and later died in captivity.

I'm impressed Cstone. I didn't think anyone under the two decade mark would have a clue what the Vietnam Tet Offensive was. Of course I know that you could have always looked it up on the Internet.

my dad landed during tet in his 2nd tour in vietnam. its kind of funny when he tells the story cuz their briefing said to expect calm and he landed and everyone was shooting at them. oh well just felt like contributing that little bit even though im not in TVB.

Actually....

I learned all about the Tet Offensive from my US History course last year. And the rest I piece together from the excellent Full Metal Jacket.

Tet is some kind of Vietnamiese Holiday. And on that day they broke a cease fire agreement and all hell broke loose basically turning the war around in favor of the Vietnamese. Leading to the enevitable withdrawl of US troops from Vietnam.

So there take that old fellas!!!

Youngsters 2 :: Geezers 0

And to answer your question... no I did not look it up on the Internet. That would be cheating. And cheating is wrong.
