I just wanted to let all know there was a Detonator Driver update for win 2k and xp for all GeForece users as of midnight Nov 11th.

The control panel is much better, drivers are even more stable, and on my ti4600 card, under benchmark tests was 25% faster as they claim the drivers will do.

There is, you just have to go to their drivers section and choose win98 as you operating system.

Bah. With the new drivers, my Ti 4200 benchmarks 3% slower than before. Not enough of a difference to be noticeable in-game, but disappointing just the same. The new control panel is sweet, though.

I tried installing the drivers, but every time I loaded up the setup it gave me a message that "nv4_disp.inf could not be found, setup will be terminated" (i'm not completely sure what the name of the file was, but I think it was that) I tried searching my computer for that file but it was nowhere to be found, anyone know how to fix this problem?

LOL...amatures...

I had 40.42 last month...using 41.03 now. the new control panels has been slightly changed...I haven't noticed any speed difference.

If you guys are really interested, I can post the links to the beta drivers as the become available. Just say the word.

Hey Gala!
go here for ATI drivers http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

If you want ATI beta drivers I have a good place for them too.

SO this driver will work for my Geforce MX420?

sounds like the performance increase is negligible anywho... I may just wait.

I am with you Dahak... if it aint broke dont fix it!

Yes JCOM that driver is for your card. Depending on how old your current drivers are...you may notice some change with the new set.

It does come with a cool new control panel....if you like that sort of stuff.
