Acctually the disabling message mode sucks. It turns on some stupid feature that spats out insults non-stop.
Counter Amp is better for winamp controls, but for people who want to have as little running as possible this isn't ideal.
Speedometer is just what it says it is. Tells you how fast you are going. Excellent when trying to work on Bhopping/STrafe jumping, whatever.
Flag timers are automated which is why they are cool IMHO. _________________ "The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it."

That sucks about the message disabling.
Now that speedometer does sound cool, since you described it more. I wouldn't mind knowing my speed in game.
The flags still don't interest me, but I can certainly see why you would like them.

H4x.
If you just want the speedometer use Sparkies... I used that a while back for a little while, it's only a speedometer and winamp and nothing else (at least the version i have is). It has units, percent and class max speed, instead of nemesis' units or graphic thing. Now i run clean, using only my massive amount of scripts to get me by. _________________

Man, why can't people just stick to TFC. Leave it Pure! All these different cheats, hacks and programs for altering the game as it was designed to be played are perversions of the game.
I think the Gods made it perfectly clear how they feel about such things, so can't we all just agree with them? These are the times when I love a dictatorship. Rock on General Lee!

Your very welcome! An informed decision is the only kind of decision, everything else is ignorant, uninformed opinions.

Oh joy of joy's. I love when the TFC puritans chime in and want to tell me how I should be playing my game. As I recall I purchased this game just like you did. You don't see any of us (people who use scripts I suppose) running over to you and saying you shouldn't be allowed to play with default configurations.
Please, I have modified the game the way that I have because I have taken the time to do so. They aren't prerversions, they are altered levels of interest and a greater dedication to enhanced performance. Nothing that I have makes me any better of a player. Moreover, I'm tired of the whining and crying about it. You think it gives me that much of an advantage (which it doesn't), then stopping bitching and give them a try, maybe then you'll realize that it does little more than make tedious tasks more simple.
For ****'s sake why don't you guys just drop the script crap already, there are no rules about it and the arguement is absolutely tiresome. You play your way, and I'll play mine. Both options are available to both of us so get off my ass about me taking a little more time to modify my configurations.

Too bad the nonability to change lead to the Neanderthal's demise. If you arn't getting my hint, then I'm simply pointing out the fact that an sdk was released, it was made for client side coding. Someone had the idea to expand upon that and make the first hooks. Now that someone is trying to give something back to the community he is shot down because "omg keep tfc pure!!". |

I'm not claiming to be a dictator but this is my house, and my rules. If you can't follow the rules then leave, it's that simple. _________________

I never called you a dictator, I follow your rules.
I'm a guest in your house and I do my best to act as one.
I was simply stating my feelings towards a form of government, not in relation to here whatsoever. _________________ "The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it."

Totally taking the thread off-topic:
Dictatorships really are the most efficient form of government assuming 2 conditions:
1. The dictator knows what he's doing
2. The government does not need to last for more than a lifetime
These two limitations are what make dictatorships usually fail, it's rare that condition #1 is met, and when speaking about nations, condition #2 is why it fails.
Now, to apply this to the Ville, yes, Rob runs the show, and knows what he's doing, so condition #1 is satisfied.
It'd be pretty cool for the ville to outlast us, but I kind of doubt that, so condition #2 shouldn't be an issue.
That said, yeah, I like warpath, and I think it attracts n00bs almost as much as 2fart, so it'd be nice to have a fix so we can keep warpath in the rotations. |

Important announcement!
SoDum Likes Men.
In addition!
The script issure won't be resolved cause too many people still think they are h4x and shouldn't be used. Just let it be, no point in argueing with people who don't care to listen. _________________
