Well, I finished colouring in my first piece of art yesterday. Hooray! I coloured it with PSP 7. I didn't use any tuts, everything I did I figured out . I drew it and coloured in the line art myself.

Go to the link below to view the file:

Well, tell me what you think.

I think it looks pretty good. When I click on the link, it brings me back to this page. But copy and paste the text does work though.

Did you draw it freehand and then scan it in or did you do all the drawing in PSP 7? Either way, nice job. I like it!

I drew it free hand, inked it and then scanned / coloured it . I get that page now too. I don't know why it happens. It worked for me at first but not now... Maybe its the way I did the link.

Ah well, Im getting Photoshop 6.0 soon so I will re-colour it with that and see if it looks better.

<-------wants a scanner......and a digital camera, and a better sound card, and a mic, and world power, and a million dollars, and an easy to understand yet very useful tutorial on how to use those art programs........oh yeah, and a wrecking ball so I can destroy anything that annoys me....

You're easy to please, VP!

VP... if you want to DL a free 30 day trial of a program with a great tutorial... here's one for you.

Go to www.macromedia.com

Download their trial for Fireworks MX. It is pretty neat. I am still tinkering with it... I don't do tutorials. I am sure there is a ton of stuff I have not yet discovered. Of course, because it is a trial version, some of the capabilities are limited.

Expensive little bugger aren't you?

http://www.psionicdesign.com/ this site has some great tuts on it. Hes a nice guy I hang around on his message board. Take a look at his 3D design site while your at it. Geeze hes amazing, he gets paid for this stuff too! I think I might get into it. He has tuts for MilkShape 3D ($20 USD for the program).
http://xu1productions.com/3dstudio/index.html.

This site's tuts are really around colouring in your drawings... But you can probably find some neat effects on there somewhere.
http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/.

There are alot of tuts out there on the vast numbers of image editing software. Just type it into google and you get pages of links.
