push = a great open map, no napalsm and no mirvs about evens it out, i like the idea of push, i luv it for hw, tryin to htink of another fun one thats open, no other ones quite as open and 1v1 as Push, so i say go with push |

I think it will be even on napalms and gerenades for both heavy and pyros in the fnf night.. i am love that map push just another idea called into my head and something to look into is a map called pushball?? basically the same but borg will have to check into that map and see what he thinks??

it will really be so that each class will jsut have reg nades, nothing special, b/c i know some pyros can own some hws wit napalsm, but myself and others can take out multiple pyros wit one mirv, so it will even out |

Maybe Maybe Not CG. Push isn't really that open. It's kinda confined and that heavily favors the fatty. The good thing about Acropolis2 was the big open area and the confined corriders. If the map is going to stay Push go ahead and pull me out of it. It's too heavily slanted toward fatty. _________________

There are NO nades on push. Fatties would so pwn pyros on push. I would love it... but do think pyros would have an unfair disadvantage. _________________

i'm up for acrop, yes push is easy for hw, i can break 100 as hw on push without even thinkin (not bragging)... but i'm fine with w/e map we pick |

i couldn't agree more OBH but looking into the map pushball or pushed would be an advantages towards the pyros?? pushball is kinda small and yet the map pushed gives something to think about nade wise or other??
but if the map is push then let it be that as what borg wants us to play... you bring a good point across and so does

but i am not about having a difficulty here it's only a game i tell myself and just out for some fun and frags for this day .. everybody has great tips here and i enjoy reading them all!! |

i agree with nanite that acropolis2 would be alot better. the nades on push would favor fatty big time figuring it takes around 2 - 3 nades to kill a hw while only 1-2 to kill a pyro. i vote for acropolis2. _________________

Ok, the map WILL be push. There were several things that went into that decision. We will be playing to have fun, there is no titile to win, no real bragging rights to win. The only point behind this is to have fun. If there are any problems with this, please PM me about them. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Hmm, oh well...like others have said...on a map like push where there is no left or right or essentially multiple rooms/areas to go and no nades...10 vs 10 is a huge advantage to the HWs. Face to face is not the pyros game! There wont even be much room to circle strafe them...just be running into the crates and 9 other HWs...hell the HWs can all just standing in a relatively straight line holding down their fire button while taking the IC shots until they die and the guy behind them takes over. I dont think this will really show EITHER of the classes true potential, especially not against each other. completly fun or not, it sounds to me like it'll just get boring fast...but what does it matter, im just an alternate (speaking of which, where are we gonna be meeting Borg)
and why not play both Push and Acrop??? just out of curiousity _________________

Sigh...Id have to agree with Optik. THe game would die out quick if we played on Push objectively or DMing. First off, one must understand that one of the Pyro;s strongest weapon is his grenade, the reason why it is so good is because he has the abillity to blind the enemy, strip him of his armor, and FINISH them off with a boost of power from the nade (the enemy being blind has only a slight idea if not none of where the nade has been thrown. Waiting for HWs to burn to death with no help whatsoever is gonna take a while Meanwhile we have 9 HWs that can litterally SEAL off an entrance standing hand and hand and just waiting there firing (if anyone has played Push there is NO room whatsoever) preventing the pyros to get the ball ANYWHERE. The pyros would not be able to flush them out from the entrance besides firing their ICs from a distance (which also takes A LOT of rockets) of course we arent gonna be THAT suicidal and try attacking them with Flamethrowers from that position (you cant strafe when they are standing like that, and if you do get within distance even if they are blind their random bullets are still gona make you a dead man)

Yeah... part of the pyro defense is their nades... Pyros will get torn up. Not a good map choice. In order for it to be an even fight, all means of defense need to be available to both classes... that means all nades too. That is like having a cbar fight between the two classes... fatties would most likely win because of their added health and armor. The only way there is a fair fight on push is for both teams to be comprised of the same class.

I am postponing the FNF for a while until some things can be taken care of with the map. And to let everyone know, the reason for push is that it is on the server. I don't know about acropolis2. I will get back to people with more info in the future. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |
