I've been there before and it is an awesome site. I'm not much into the custom weapons but I changed my crosshairs since I couldn't see them on most backgrounds. BRN = Blind as a bat!!

I like the hatchet model crowbar I feel so wicked chopping away

The rocket flare sprites are very nice too they make it so easy to track where they go and if they connect

I'm starting to pull off airshots even as solly

Yeah the rocket flare/sprites rock you can combine them to customize the look.I tweaked with it last night and it totally roxors

I am thinking about updating my stuff, but how can I get a complete backup of all of the things I could change by using these?

A backup of most files is in pak0.pak already so almost all models/sprites are saved already. Configs you will need to backup if you edit them.

Pak explorer from http://quakestuff.telefragged.com/ It's says it's from quake 1, but remeber the HL engine is based off of the quake one, so it works perfectly. HLMV also has a pak viewing option.
