It's time for another installment of map selections! Yup, I have been busy lately but I found some time to grab a couple excellent maps for you all to check out! Enjoy.
**Armageddon**
By: [WTF?]Dr_Bones
More screenies here: Armageddon Shots
Object:
- The Terrorists MUST protect their key!
Points are only scored when the key
stay's in it's starting position.
- The Navy Seals have to steal the key,
deactivate the laser field then activate
the self-destruct switch in the silo.
Scoring:
- 5 points for each 60 seconds the key stays
in it's starting postion (Blue)
- 10 points for each destruction of the enemy
base (Red)
A fast paced in your face slaughter! However, it requires immense teamwork to get it done.
Armageddon earns out of a possible 5. It gets such a high rating because of the teamwork involved. Without complete teamwork, you will not win. There is just no way around it. Any map that completely promotes TPF and plays great gets high marks from this reviewer!
Spacebowl
Created by - Paul A. Bullman
More screenies here: Spacebowl Shots
[b]Objective:
Blue team must secure 2 capture
points, and then finally secure Red's HQ.
Red team must prevent the capturing of
their HQ before the 25 minute time limit
runs out.
Scoring:
Red team (defense)- 5 points per minute
Blue team (offense)- 30 points per capture
- 50 points for HQ
Other Notes: When a capture point is secured,
spawn points are revised and a new flag
appears. Rounds last 25 minutes.
Roofcutter pointed this map out to me and WOW! What can I say, it's Dustbowl in space!
Spacebowl earns out of 5! Dustbowl in space! What could be better? How about a million nooks and crannies for SG's, snipers, and spies! Buttons that make bridges open up to ward off attackers! It runs just like Dustbowl but without the drab colors and limited playing field. I highly recommend this map!
You can find both maps here: JMC's Map Search

Nice work, once again, KRG
There is a pretty good map that you might want to think about doing next time, from the Map Search, type in :
skeeball
And it's the 3rd ( last ) map on the list.
Civilians try to get in holes, snipers have to shoot them. It would be a lot of fun with about 16 people.
I'm going to look up more maps, and I'll PM you if I find any really good ones. Nice work. |
