I'm not sure you would save any hard disk space. If you saved any it would be minimal. The whole ideal of the program was to allow you to access all the various chat "networks" from one central program.

You get the chat programs to talk to your friends. I use AIM like nobodies business at school. I know people that get IM names before phone numbers! Craziness. I love talkin to my TFC buddies outside of game, and AIM and ICQ are great for that!

About trillian, after my initial interest in the program. I spent some time on it and I decided I didn't like the program for some reason. I don't know why yet, but it just didn't seem to have the same feel as the other programs.

Warning about Trillian, you can't receive files from anyone on ICQ or any other IM. It's a great program because it covers a lot of messaging systems but it is limited because of that. ICQ does have some IM spam but for the most part, it's a good little IM program. You can even IM to someone's cell phone. That's handy. Hmmm. . I have 30 some contacts from TheVille alone on ICQ. . will have to add BRN and borg! hehehe

That's strange KRG. I've got Trillian and I can recieve and send files just fine. My one and only gripe about switching from ICQ to Trillian is I don't have the emoticon that looks like a shit-eating-grin anymore. I MISS MY LITTLE ICQ EMOTICON!

The trillian program makes chatting easier because it makes it so there is only one program that will allow you to go into stuff like AIM, MSN, ICQ, IRC and others.

So let me get this straight. I open up trillian and it automatically opens all my chats for me?? Or does it do something else, specifics man I need specifics, heheh

It is one program that will allow you to use all of your chat programs from just the confines for trillian. You can actually get rid of the other programs, I believe and save hard disk space.

So i could get that, and then get rid of ICQ, MSN, etc. and still be able to use ICQ, MSN, etc.???

As far as I can tell yes, Computer knows more than me about it though.

This program that you all are talking about is it all-in-one?

Yes Mikey. I have actually decided to go back to using the individual programs though.

I recieve files perfectly over trillian icq. The user interface is very unfriendly, but I personally like it that way. The only reason I hate configuring aol, and stuff on my aunt's computer, is the user friendlyness. I want a program that does what I tell it, and that's it. No more no less, trillian does that perfectly for me.
