How did you find The'Ville?

WOW MIKEY! Another Concerned Citizen dude. I too played on Concerned Citizen and TV1 until the patch came out (not sure which one) and Concerned Citizen went down. After that TV1 was the only place I played until I finally got around to visiting the site. I dont remember the named I played under at CC though. I had a lot of aliases. Do you remember a Rush or MrChilipepper? I think Chen Kenichi was strictly TV1.

I too was an Avanti addict for a few months, and found Avantiville during a filter of Avanti servers. When it flashed up the stats at tfc.clarkgraphics.com, I found a reason to stick with one server. Plus, the competition was pretty good there too!

well i have this websit that can track people and this clan i used to be in and while i played as [BBC]Fred i found my friend [BBC]ScoobyDoo playin in theville.org1 and i thought he would never go in a ser ver were they cuss and crap like that and this was after my faveorite server of all time crashed and died i will pay respects to u later BloodBathCentral but i came in the game and i was just learning how to play reg gravity so i sucked but every1 was friendly so i stuck around #Bluegrab

I first started playing TFC about 9 months ago (November) having been bored with the very laggy CS (cause of my comp {below}).

I first loved Dustbowl so i first played at [12AM] which had like 7 servers or so that had 24/7 dustbowl, but i mainly played at [12AM]Executioner.

Then i got bored with dustbowl and started playing 2fort.

Fortunately for me, in November TheVille 3 had it playing so i came on. At the time it had neo, which then i never heard of. I was playing as an engy with the name LinkinDeath.

Then i remember Rob telling me how to make a MG. I thought the neo was really cool so i sticked around and i started playing on the other servers also.

Then about a month later towards the end of December, i registered and have never left.

About a week ago, I checked to see if the [12AM] servers were still up, but i only saw one server with only 7 people in it.

So now i have been here happily for 8 1/2 months and will never go anywhere else.

Very simple for me. My brother glitch told me he liked to play here, so I would join him on weekends on the old Avantiville playing avanti--and, well, I never left. The no cheating, no llama behavior and fair admins--not to mention great players--just made this place perfect.

(Now if glitch will just say how he found the place.)

Well, the first year i played TFC i didnt really frequent any one server, i just would find one that had a decent map and alot of people. Then i found Kali Hunted (Pretty much all hunted) and learned to play sniper, that was the first server that i was a regular at. After a few months i took a break from TFC and when i came back i decided to start wandering again. one day i was looking for servers when i saw TheVille.Org Servers, i had been playing TFC for an hour or so, so i decided to take a break and check out the site. I found that it was a very good site, with a large community and forums. I went back into TFC and joined The Ville I, where i had a really fun time, every time i come back i always have fun, so thats how i found the ville...

hmm i found theville wheni was looking for an all avanti server. AND I FOUND IT WHENI READ THE TITLE "AVANTILLE" and i knew then it was my tfc home,

I found it because of several of the reasons above, 1 the fact you could read the name with out all those annoying symbols, 2 it was TV3 and Neo was running and being a Noob, people actually helped me with the commands as I had no clue really how to play TFC let alone Neo at first I thought it was the same untill I tried to build a MG on TV1 and someone explained to me why I couldnt

. and lastly the website and forums kept me hooked for those times when I just couldnt play but could browse the net.

Mine is a combination of some of the above. I use to filter for all servers playing warpath. Then I looked at the ones that were written in plain english. I figured a server that is tied to it's own webpage has to be good. Then as I kept playing I saw the same messages about seeing stats, and downloading soundpacks. That was right as TV3 came on a year ago.

I just kind of ran across it by accident. I think it was still the lone Avantiville back then, and I just clicked on it because I like avanti and ended up staying.

I think I may have been in my old clan {KGB} before I resigned back then.

Wow Concerned citizens was one of my favs of TFC servers, but I also played at Avantiville a LOT.
One day Frag ask me to join and I haven't left. We have the best group of players, admins, and servers anywhere.
Frag and Rob (and all the other admins) make this place a joy to play at and be associated with.
Please rember to have fun when you come here because that's why we started this up in the first place.

Ok I got it!

I was pubbing one day and came across TV I. I never really played on a set server before. I always just roamed around. Back then, I was in SDK and we mainly played the old HL DM. SDK fell apart for the "first" time lol and I found TFC. Later SDK got back together and I formed a TFC division but that's another story. I was interested in TFC because of the team aspect. TheVille I opened my eyes to a whole new world of HL. The team play was unreal and the laughs were flowing a mile a minute.

Now you want to know what happened? I had never even seen Avanti before. I had no idea how to play it. So I grab the flag right. .. gates open. . .I don't know how, but I managed to run all the way to the church with the flag. I never saw any other cap point the entire way! So I am standing on the church cap point and this is how it went:

KRG: Why can't I cap?

someone: where is the flag?

someone: who has the flag?

KRG: I do, but it won't let me cap!

someone: I am at cap 1, where are you?

KRG: I am at the cap.

someone: no you're not, I am standing on cap 1

KRG: cap 1?

someone: lol noob

KRG: where is 1? I am in a church

someone: LMAO, bring the flag back to spawn

KRG: ok

I never made it back to the spawn. I was gunned down half way there. People were laughing at me but no one was being mean about it. After that, someone walked me through the cap points. That's what really made me come back. Although I was knew, people treated me good and helped me out. I had never seen that before on a pub server. I can't recall who it was that helped me but I remember being treated kindly. I have never left. I always came back here. I will never leave. I love you serverS!

Ahhh lets see here. Got hooked to TFC in general at my friends house last summer.. or maybe the oen before. At the time i was a Diablo 2 junky, still am and paly when i suck too bad at TFC. but i had kept goign into 2fort maps, and those got boring, even the first day. Then i hopped onto a random avanti server and it was fun, so fun i searched for jsut that map. So i hopped onto the Avantiville server and played through the night, till about 11am or so. I didn't get the game at my house for a few months, but when i did i got addicted to dustbowl, and played on the blueyonder servers. After a few weeks i remember my appeal for avanti and searced for it. Low and behold there was The 'Ville I and i hopped on, only going every once in a while. Then after i found out there was a neo server iw as hooked to the ville. Plus what better place for me to learn how to play than to come where the best are.

Well, I remember trolling through the lists of servers looking for servers with avanti or warpath... saw avantiville, and played there a fair amount no annoying friendly fire, etc, but never played alot... I continued to semi-randomly troll for servers until I joined one of the ville servers in november or december and saw that they had stats... then I started playing exclusively on ville servers... joined the forums in january, and have been spamming with the best of 'em ever since
