I am quitting TFC.

As you can see from my post count and don't post here that often nor do I read alot of posts. But sometimes I cruise on over and check things out, lately just to see who has posted their pic.

Anyway....KRG I couldn't argree with you more!!

When I bought this game a couple of years ago, it was because it was a GAME!!! That's right a GAME! I had no idea there would be websites like this one with thousands of posts about every conceiveable topic.

When I came upon this topic and started reading, I just couldn't take it no more and had to post. This topic is one of the reasons I don't read posts here, I swear half the people here just CRAVE attention. I could easily fill this page with names but for space sake I will give you one of the best examples Darkwoor.

If I got sick of playing TFC today and decided I would never play again, do you think I would post that thought here??? Hell no! Why would you guys care, and what makes you think I would care if you quit? I swear with some of you people I don't think your mother held you enough, and with others I think she held you too much. Don't think that I don't have fellings or that I don't like any of you, because if you are your being oversensitve and I can't stand that!!! I like anyone that can give me a challenge on the playing field or make the game fun or better yet amusing.

One last thing....Jux you said your a christian do you think by leaving TFC others might follow relizing their wicked ways? If your a true christian you will do what the God put forth in the Bible and spread the word to non-believers. I can't think of a better opportunity then this, who knows what could happen! as we all know TFC is full of many many different people and as I read some of these weepy posts, many are in need! Your blood and guts complaint doesn't hold up with me because you said your self the Christains path is a rocky one.

Thats my opinion and if you don't like it you can kiss my.....ummmm wouldn't want to offend anyone.

Jux, the text that you took out of context and quoted me on wasn't aimed at you. I finished my post to you by saying, I am sorry to see you go and I wish you the best". Everything after that was not aimed at you directly. I wasn't trying to return flame.

That being said: Your post was full of a lot of comments that I truly don't think anyone wanted/needed to hear. Telling us that you all of a sudden look down on many of the things we do here just kinda pinched a nerve in me. You have decided that you would rather leave then continue to hang around here and I can respect that. But taking a few pokes at us on your way out was more vindictive than a peaceful farewell. So I took the time to speak a bit about how I feel about people downing TheVille because they do not agree with what goes on here. That is all.

I only just read this thread, so......

I must say that it is not wrong to be distrustful of everyone you come across for the first time, especially in today's society. Although that is not to say that you don't come to trust people in time, and not after too much time either.

My Opinion: Speak your mind, and you'll suffer. It's happened to myself before (at school anyway), and it's happened to my mother also ("you're fired"). Anyone who punishes those who speak out against them, even though they may have a point, can be considered, in one way or another, right-wing. This, however, applies when a genuine and reasonable opinion is expressed, as opposed to extreme and 'bad' stuff. I'm sure all the reasonable folk out there can tell the difference.

Since the death of my sister, I've come to learn, very rapidly, the true value of keeping quiet in order to remain in the good books of people above you - None. Of course, we all keep schtum for this reason at some point or another, but we also see those who do speak out getting punished. Material values go out the window, but the moral values are usually kept with thoe person speaking, as opposed to the person punishing (Again, there are the numerous, inevitable exceptions for "bad" things).

Anyway, I'm sorry you feel the way you do about TFC and The Ville, Jux, and hope that you do find salvation doing something you enjoy without sacrificing any morals or correctness. However, everyone here should be left to their own devices. After all, it may look violent, but it's all for the sake of a cheap (UK£25 per month for me) thrill, and it's definitely not real.
