It might be because they are older demos from another patch. I tried playing some old [DW] matches I got from Demogarage but they didn't work either.

when you downloaded it open the zip file and extract the file to sierra/half-life/tfc place it there.
Write down the name of that file and then go to the console and type in:
playdemo <mapname demo>

don't forget the space between the playdemo and the mapdemo.

The mapname normally end on .dem so you don't need to typy this twice.

So this is how i did mine:

playdemo FPvs666-openfire-pa_frsol.dem

thats all.

so now it shoud work.

Hmm their HWg demos didn't impress me or Rata much, we both sat down to watch them on my computer thinking we were going to get this awesome show, and ended up going what was that, hey don't do that! Nooo look what he just did that fool! Looked like us on a bad day, and the guys barely fought, they just had to deal with Medics most of the time.

I don't know if demos are really that good to learn with, I think being told what they are doing is better. Better yet is just put in the time to learn it yourself, learn your own style and perfect a class. That's what I did. I never knew about demos and there were no How To Play HW guides around when I started TFC and I'm still playing with default keyboard setting with no helpers scripts or binds beyond detdispenser. Practice makes Perfect. #Silly

I have the one with Necro where he was accused of cheating...

You don't get many people trying to fight HWs, save a random solly and the enemy HW. It was mostly a demo of him killing this other HW and shotting down flying medics while conced.

Which one do you have JR? The trench demo was the one that was viewed most often, but not the one brought to the pfl councel to review for his "cheating"

Yea, the mulch_trench one where he was sitting out in the yard and gunning down concing medics (and throwing mirvs at the one across the trench. )

Round one and two. It was on the TDA website and i was curious why people thought he was cheating... I'm not convinced. :p

Where can i get my hands on the other one, lin?
