JR it happens to all of us as far as I can figure. When it happens to me I take a break and do something else. I come back after a few days or longer and the game is fun again.

hmmm I got burnt out on offense.. so I switched back to defense.. it's been quite fun again heh

Yeah I get those phases, too. When I get all grumpy I blame the friggin' n00bs because they rekindle the irritable things in me. It sucks when that happens because I'm generally a nice person and I don't like people to see me that way. Anyway when I go through a phase like that I notice that I get very, very impatient. Being impatient and so on is like an indicator or a red light telling me hey, you should take a friggin break. But a matter of fact you know the causes or irritation is fatigue. I noticed when I play my eyes don't blink at all, hehe. Your eyes can play a great toll and cause many headaches or irritability to your body let alone your brain. Of course we need to take a break because our brains/eyes shouldn't stare at a 19inch monitor or whatever for so long. Why do you think our Mom's used to tell us now to stand so close to the television. Stop playing, go out and get some fresh air, eat something or do what my little friend does....

Well JR when I get burnt out on TFC I either watch some movies, play a different game (like SC or EE) or try for some outragious stat like 332 det pack kills or 147 dispenser kills or 89 med kit kills. I was so bored this saturday that I played engy, medic and pyro just to see how many daily awards I could get from those three catagories.

Still no matter what you try there are times when the game just doesn't seem fun anymore. When I get that way and still want to play some TFC, I usually head out to some newb server and get a better apreciation for playing at the Ville

We all go through it, like JD said. Bottom line is if it isn't FUN then don't do it, because games are supposed to be fun entertainment. If it isn't fun now, do some other form of entertainment for a bit.

I've been trying to have fun by concing around alot... for some reason flying gives me fun, but there are no league maps except a occasional one on 9, so the only thing i can conc on and still play is Badlands and well, and well i still get rocketed easy, and badlands, You conc, only to hear a symphony of sniper rifles go off. At least one of the thirty million will hit you... One of the reasons i've been getting burnt out. I've been denied my fun by snipers. :/

i hate getting burtnt out and frustrated -- it happens to me quite often as your all better than me -- sob sob -- so when i go through a stage were im just getting slaughtered i get annoyed and frustrated

i usually solve this by either leaving it allone for a while -- or i just mess around -- without breaking the rules obviously -- change class or as JR said i just practice concing on a lvl were u can get shot

recently i been trying to master the HH conc

Just take a break JR, play another game that doesn't involve communication with actual humans and ull be better in no time! Thats what I am doing with Diablo II

You dont see me in game very often because no matter what I do I get rocked something fierce, but if your looking for something to cheer you up then watch me play when I do get a game in, youll laugh your arse off at how bad I get owned. Or you could always go play a different game online that your not good at, that should help you realize how much you still appreciate the game lol.
