USMC Update

Well, it looks like I could go out on duty in two weeks. But it is not for sure now. Sorry about the last post. I just freaked out thinking I would be active duty again (a phone call from you commander will do that). It is the last thing my personal life can deal with.

I love my country but I have been though too much to go active duty again.

Give me your blessings that somehow I wont be going active duty in the USMC.

I hope that it is not required for anyone else to be called up.

Kind of scary if you think we have small activities around the world but no major actions. It must mean we don't have a large enough standing service.

How can I put it...we have enough troops worlidwide...but we don't always have enough who are specialized.

LOL, DK's service is "classified"... I have a buddy who was in the Navy on Nuclear carriers... he would answer about the same way DK just did when you'd ask about his job
