The names off peeps

Well i hate to sound like a sour puss but its been weighing on my mind now for a bit but .Its getting a bit disturbing to see some of the names that pop into the ville there are several examples but some of them contain some really distastfull language .I am no saint but when my daughter watches me play and she see's me get shot buy some guy named asshole its not good and she is really quick .Just thought id bring up the point ..Thanks David

Thanks for your input SoulThief and I'm sorry you had to see that. Every admin here including myself will always ask people with offensive names to change it or be kicked/banned. We have a long list of people who have been banned from TheVille for tasteless names.

In the future:
1.) Try to find an admin on one of the other servers
2.) If no admin can be found warn him that if he/she does not change their name they may get banned.
3.) If that fails get this info and send it to me via PM's.

Yes feel free to PM me as well. I do spend a bit of time at night, just looking to see who is on the servers and will get on and deal with some really inapropriate names.

The only problem with the one you mentioned is that we occasionally change some Aholes name to ImaAsshole so that people know they really are. Of course we are usually preparing to ban them at that point anyway. Any person using a vulgar or racist name I see will be dealt with. So do PM me with either the info mentioned above or the Server and Time if it is too disgusting to put in writing and I'll check the logs.

ya, I have two daughters and I think now I might have to get rid of the wtf wav and shit wav from my computer. Even though I laugh when its played, sometimes my girls are around and I really dont want them to start saying wtf out of the blue. That would be, um embaressing.

Just glad they arent old enough to play, alot of the stuff that ppl type in game I wouldnt want them to read.

Remember that if you cannot find any of us that your warnings you give to these peeps should be in text not just voice. It makes it easier for us to review logs if they come back and plead thier case, to just look there and tell them outright we have you nailed.

Blown, I replaced the .wav files with other ones that aren't so un-kid-friendly. Just rename a wav you find that is funny and or fitting the abbreviation. I made it so wtf only plays the Yosemite Sam "WHAAAT!" wav file.
