Well, I d/l and installed ICQ again after a long absence. I was just wondering - I have had it quite a while - probably about 6-7 years , and am quite proud of my "low" id number - anyone else got one lower ??? - mine is 11569529

Mine is 554174
Yes that is under a million and well under the 127 million or whatever its up to now.
I had one in the 200 thousands but forgot the password and had to create this new one... oh well such is life.

I don't understand why you guys all prefer ICQ. I tried it once and found it rather annoying. Isn't AOL IM a better alternative?

Yeah I agree - Instant Messenger is my preferred chat client - it is clean, small, easy to use, and gives me the best voice clarity

i use both aim and icq for myself. when talking to my friends ill use aim but it really doesnt matter. probably the only reason i use ICQ is to talk to people who play tfc or cs |

i'm actually running MSN messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL AIM, and ICQ. That's what you get when you've got friends who are non-team players and wander off with their own preferred IMs....
I'm pretty much impartial towards all except ICQ which I find rather annoying and "in your face". just my 2 cents on the subject
