I don't care if your a Republician or a Democrat, rich or poor, from the cities or from the rural areas, or if you care about politics or not. What I'm seeing here is just a continuation of what proliferates in Washington -- political fighting. And it needs to stop. What our country needs, especially in this time of tragedy, is a united front. Its arguements like this on the mose basic level that causes chaos on a larger scale.
If you hate Bush, or even if you love Bush, that doesn't matter. Support him. He's our President. Period.
And if you don't care about what I think..
Let me now ... warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally. This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but in those of the popular form it is seen in its greatest rankness and is truly their worst enemy.
