whats a beta game?? how or where do you play em at? I d/loaded the beta game "empires" i found a server i added it to my favorites in steam but when i try to launch it it says steam isnt initialized, help!

Steam is broke in regards to launching mod games from the console. Create an Empires shortcut on your desktop and launch from there.
