Thanks to everyone who turned out......!! Loads of fun!
These are demo files.
If you've never used one, go to the instructions below...
DEMO1: On Anzio, low grav, we have a go at building a tree

DEMO3: This time, we gather in the church tower.....

HOW TO USE DEMOS
1. Save to your DoD folder (C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNTNAME\day of defeat\dod)
2. Start DoD1.3
3. Do not join a server...instead open the console and type PLAYDEMO followed by the name of the demo you have just saved...
4. Enjoy!

i did that but it says error. could not open or sumthin like that...any ideas why?.....would it be posible to make it a windows media file?

Don't double click the file once you have saved it to the desktop...
Did you follow the instructions above?

You mustn't dbl click this file or it will try and open up Half Life 2 to play the demo!
Assuming you have placed the DEM file in your DoD folder....
Open up STEAM and bring up your list of games
Dbl Click on Day of Defeat
Don't join any servers. Leave as is.
Press ` to get to console.
In console type PLAYDEMO FUNNIGHT1 and that will play the first demo
After watching that, type PLAYDEMO FUNNIGHT3 to play the next one!

Sounds like there not saved in your DoD folder, go here to check if they are - C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\yourname@email.com\day of defeat\dod
If there not there and still on your desk top right click the file on you desk top and copy to the above. If not download again but try this, click on dogs link then right click on the file and go to save target as then go here - C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\yourname@email.com\day of defeat\dod - to save. The files need to be in your DoD folder to work.

playing funight1.dem
ERROR: couldn't open
any ideas????
