I'm having the oddest problem that I think has to deal with my in-game sprites. The speaker above people heads when they are talking and certain street lamp tops get these black boxes around them.

Any idea of how to fix this?

I was getting that for a while too... after I updated my graphics card drivers. It also happened with lights...they had a black square around them...I was using OpenGL in DoD1.3 but changing over to DirectX got rid of the problem.

Well I think the game was designed to run on OpenGL with D3D as a backup. It's supposed to run best on OpenGL.

Yeah, the second I tried running on D3D I was only having problems. I know it not my drivers, cause I just updated them no longer than a month ago. Guess I'll just have to live with a few bad sprites.
