Know what was a great pre 1.3 map? Omaha. Oh sure it was a one-sided campfest (worse than charlie ever was), but it was great charging up the beach - getting up to the top of hte cliff was an achievement in itself.

Where did you get this information of the release date? I don't really trust VALVe or the DoD team with release dates so Im not getting my hopes up.

It was in the news update thing when I started steam.

I trust em on this one - they've been working on both maps for some time and no doubt been playtesting them to death, at least that's the impression I've been getting from the developers who post on the dod forums.
