aren't you on dsl though?... maybe that is why you lag all the time ( as in you have it set on 256 and not 768) _________________ |

Well mine always get's set to > 2M and I only have 384k. What are you setting your rates at in the console? I have my rates all maxed out, so that might be why my connection setting is maxed out. So maybe the rates you are using are for 768k, and that would explain the problem. Is it causing any extra lag or anything? _________________

Or maybe it's none of your alls fault. It's a Steam issue. I never touch any of my settings and from time to time they inexplicably change themselves after an update.
Steam is a strange and wondrous tool that sometimes makes for aggravating and frustating gaming. Things like; why did my keybinds all change, why does it now Thank Me for playing DoD on the free weekend, why do my favorites never show up.
Just do what I do, occasionally go and check your Steam settings to see it in it's own great wisdom changed your settings. _________________ ********* *********
