karmic consequence bender for your camping ways
I used to have the exact same problem, but I bought a
new mouse, and no more problems. I sacrificed the old
one to the dod gods, and they were happy, and blessed
me with many kills. I am going to assume that u are using
an optical mouse it may have something to do with the
surface that u are using it on. Maybe try using it on some
object other your comp desk surface, and see if you get
a different result.

Yea, i had that problem. Try a small stack of computer paper as your mouse pad. I tryed all kinds of mouse pads, the paper was the only thing that worked. ... now it never happens any more
