Steam log-in problems on TV4

WELL...i have to stop playing now.....today has been worse than previous days. I keep getting booted from TV4 for various reasons, all of which involve my steam ID. I know there has been a bunch of other people with this problem as well.

What can we do?....is it a server problem? or a steam problem?

Some of the things it says when kicked are:

-No steam log in on this server
-Your steam ID is already in use on this server
-You have signed in at another location

Help the innocent one

While I do nto know what the problem is, nor have i ever had it happen to me, I have seen it happen alot on the servers. I have not really seen it in HL1 mods, but alot in HL2 mods (Though I have not played much HL1 mods lately)

It did it to me the other day then I just restarted steam and the problem hasn't resurfaced since then.

Try turning off your hacks gordo

ive had it happen a couple of times, but its not reg enough for me to get worried.... last time it happened i restarted steam but for some reason couldnt rejoin as it thought i was still there, but its been fine since touch wood

Its happend to me a couple times, I just rebooted and had no problems from there....Try taking off your h4X Gordo, or it could be because your in Oakville, I know Most ppl in Newmarket never have problems

I was having those same problems Gordo. I havent had a fix for them yet, but its only happened to me one or two nights. If it starts happening more often i'll have to delve deeper in to the problem.

well.....hasn't happened in a few days now.....so i guess it is a very tempermental thing. That one day it kept happening even when i rebooted and everything. I'm happy now. #2gunfire

Could of been a problem with one of the hops between you and the server that was causing it to time out

I get booted sometimes too, and I think it says "steam loginID already in use". Sometimes I have to change my name to get back in.

Cant use coneect tv4. , have to type connect IP.theville.org to get in but ,haven't try different for the last week. Steam has been restarted severals times.
