I know this happend monday, but I have been busy so I am just now posting this. My school, the University of Akron, has finally stoped being a joke at football! Not only are we the MAC Division I Champs, but we made it to our first bowl game ever, and did not get our asses handed to us at the bowl game (38-31). Not bad for a school that never had the money to recruit, and a head coach in his second year as a head coach all together. Add in all the new campus, 3rd best technology programs in the US, and the top Engineering program (Even beating out MIT now), I can finally have real fuel to defend my school against those who thinks Akron is a joke. At this rate, there is a good chance we could even dethrone OSU as the top school in Ohio. Proud to be a Zip

Watched most of the game. They made a good effort as the game went back and forth emotions & momentum-wise. Highly entertaining.

I'm going to the Holiday Bowl tonight: Oregon vs Oklahoma. Hoping for another cliff-hanger as this bowl has a habit of doing. #Beer
