I think we'd add another round of nomination before voting for the map in the Ville IV, it'd make more interesting.

The current voting system picks 5 random maps. It also keep record of the last 5 maps played so they don't come up right away.

It has been the same way for years. The server does well. I see no reason to change it.

i was gonna say that silver...

see the problem with nominations is sometimes maps get played every other one if a certain group stay on. and well.... thats no fun. so considering that there are maybe 15-20 maps total to choose from on the server the once every five works out well.. and also if an admin in on and you want a map that doens't ever come up on the auto map vote you can always ask to have them do a vote...

forgot to mention and as to bump this so people read.. supporters also have a map vote option on the 1.3 dod servers so if you see a supporter you can ask them too. BUT DO NOT ABUSE THE POWAH!!!!!

i think a two round voting system would be neeto.... lots of NS servers offer it so like the top two maps from the ones voted on move to a 2nd round of voting and then that map wins... i could see that working well on the ville servers, but why not try it on TV7 as a pilot program and if people like it enough move it to 4? i would think it doesnt take much to set up... and ask people to vote here in these forums if they want to keep or get rid of it...
