Well last night I went to the college pub because "Carnival Diablo" was happening, which was basically a freak show. I drank 3 beers, starting at 8 oclock before going to the pub. Then at the pub, I did 3 pitchers to myself between 8:30 and 10:00. I was being to rowdy and people I decided to leave.
I went back to the ex girlfriends place and finally told her what I've wanted to say. She'd been dragging me along between her and this new bf that lives out of town, she uses me like I'm her actual bf, but wont tell me she loves me when others are around and stuff like that. I confronted her and told her that she has to make a choice, or something of the sort, forgive my poor memory I was overly hammered.
The point is, I finally had the guts to tell her what I've been wanting to for a long time now. Does anybody else have any stories involving booze and its truth process?
P.S. I was also hammered enough that I hit on her roommate for a while, man, somethings I just cant get around. _________________

I totally agree with you on this one Mal. Some people act a certain way, but once alcohol is in their system, they act the total opposite. A lot of classmates from highschool was like this. If you ever want to know how a person really feels about something or someone just liquor them up, you'll find out the truth about anything. |

I just have to say Mal, if she can't tell you she loves you in front of others or even show the slightest sense of affection towards you, your wasting your time. If she loves you, she would not be embarrassed to show it or say it in front of ANYONE. Seems more or less she wants her cake and eat it to. She wants the best of both worlds. When he's not around she has you to go to for all her needs but then throws you aside when the other is around.
Believe it or not I think your a nice guy, you deserve someone who will show you love and tell you that. Don't you think you deserve that as well? Your feelings are just as important as anyone else's. Don't let someone drag you along like this, it's not emotionally healthy. She seems to have moved on, maybe it's time you close that chapter in your life and find someone who's going to love and respect you. Loving someone should never be an embarrassment, if they can't show love maybe there is no love there.
Hmm, sorry for getting all deep and things, but being a woman and all it happens!!! lol
Goodluck to ya, Mal. Lots of good women out there, don't settle for anything but the best for you. |

Did I read it correctly... you said you "had a gutts to tell her"??? what is up with this? Are you that intemidated to tell a silly girl she is being cheap? Mal... dont go for the girl with wet reputation in a serious way. Girl who has two man at the same time should be treated accordingly - not too serioiusly. Being insecure and intemidated is not becoming to you. Sober up and tell her to hit the road, you have better things to do with your time. - like sedduce the roommate.
Also remember - reputation is very important. If you get yourself a reputation of tolerating female bs of this kind, every female that comes along will do the same thing to you. I think these are the type of things where compromise is harmful. Find a healthy balance. Like for example - flirt with the roomate when you are drunk.... tell a useless girlfriend to get lost when you are sober.... _________________ ALIVE YOU ARE NOT VALUABLE TO ME......

im goin to go with squirels idea, actualy thats how im with who im with today! ya its my ex"s best freind or was! even if you like this girl alot if you show her that you have other options she"ll come around. for some reason if women think they have you to fall back on they will string you along as long as you let them! if she dont come around then she just dont care and its time to see that and move on. good luck mal! |

emotions tend to cloud a mans vision.
what you seem to have is an attrractive young lady who is willing to engage in casual romance without the burden of a long term commitment.
that ain't all bad bro !!

^ sounds kinky.... but in all seriousness, both of them are right... this girl isnt worth your time... if you arent seriously obligated to her (ie have children together, engaged, etc...) then you shouldnt be fretting about this... its a circus in your head, i understand, I just through something similar about 5 months ago... but you did the right thing... regardless of your sobriety and you get double points for hitting on the roommate in the same span of time as telling the ex to bug-off =p _________________

Ive done that before, back when i was texas. I had a huge crush on this 26 year old, she was wow. This is when i was in texas for the medic course. But any ways, one weekend i got drunk, i called my sister and another girl from the class and told them about the girl i liked.... and eventually, told the girl i liked also... bad thing about it is that the next day.. she showed me her ring... she was married... yeah that was a bummer... i felt like a idiot for not seeing the ring before hand. _________________ if you think thats a soldier behind you? think
