What's the point of labeling things anyway? Does cheerleading being called a sport really change anything? I say cheerleading is cheerleading, football is football, stacking cups is stacking cups. Why argue about what is a sport and what is not a sport when everyone has their own opinions? It just won't work. That is my opinion!

It depends on your definition of sport. It seems to take a lot of work practicing their moves and stuff...

Dude, you can say that about whackin it. Does that make "happy time" a sport?? If so i'm considering quiting the army and going to the major leagues

Is cheerleading a sport?no, just like bass fishing isn't XTREME!! it's a competeitive ACTIVITY. cheerleaders mud wrestling however IS a sport, which relates back to my first statement, tee hee.

Saying cheerleading is a sport is like saying Curling is a sport.

once i started seeing the definition of sport i skipped reading the rest. I had an in depth conversation with god about this the other day (me and him are avid canasta buddies). He says he used all of his power to rid the world of cheer leading, and ended up breaking a finger and cracking 3 ribs. He says in no way is it a sport, but more of a demonic practice. Just thought you should all know the big guys opinion. ANd his opinion of your opinions is your all crazy.
