Nature is cruel. After a lot of the Houston/south side evacuated, the hurricane started to turn more east. Most of these people spend hours, like 24 to get to Dallas instead of 4. As it was hitting, my area was right on the out skirts of the storm. I have a picture of a great sunset from one side of the fire station, and then a dark cloudy picture from the other side.
We mostly had winds with little rain, and everyone around should be alright. Most of the damage will be on the Texas Lousiana border.
Thanks for the thoughts guys. _________________
