Some questions:
Do both teams respawn at the same time? For example, when the axis timer winds down to 0, do the allies spawn too?
I always see people prime a nade, and then put it away. How?! I tried priming it and then switch to rifle. _________________ =(M)-(M)= Mal n the m00bs - TVC 06 finalists

1. yes i believe so. if you are near an enemy respawn. like on glider, when the timer hits zero, you can hear the "spawn sound" (for lack of a better term), the click of peoples guns as they respawn.
2. never heard of anyone doing that. i doubt if its possible. _________________

A few? That looks like a couple to me, but I've always wondered the same about the first one. And I don't think you're supposed to be able to put away a primed nade, sounds kind of dangerous to me. _________________

Unless I'm seeing things. It looks like they throw it on the ground, pick it up. then switch to a gun. But you're prolly right _________________ =(M)-(M)= Mal n the m00bs - TVC 06 finalists

you're missing them actually throw it, they're always facing the ground, so it looks like they dont throw it at all...wait till source, it'll show everything. and most people using "swtich to last weapon button' or whatever its called.... well at least i do. _________________

I think the respawn timer for each team starts once a team member dies. They spawn independently of each other I believe. |

The spawn timer starts when a member of that team dies (the starting time varies on how many players are on that team). When it reaches 0, all dead members of that team spawn. The teams have seperate spawn timers. _________________

cool, thanks for clearing up the spawn timer thing
How ever, I was just playing DoD. I saw someone throw a nade on the ground, pick it up, and switch back to their rifle, which I guess un-primes the nade. Is this a hack? _________________ =(M)-(M)= Mal n the m00bs - TVC 06 finalists

When you throw a nade un-primed a big arm-movement animation is displayed. However, once that nade is primed the throw occurs without any animation (this is useful for determining if you should pick up that nade you just saw an enemy throw). Also, when throwing a primed nade you automatically switch back to your primary weapon instantly after it is thrown.
The only nade thing I know of that you can do is this... (and I only say this here b/c it offers no real advantage, but if an admin disagrees I'll edit this out)...
1. Choose a class with 2 nades.
2. Bring up both your nades.
3. Throw the first one not very far away in front of you.
4. Click "fire" to pull the pin on the second nade.
5. Grab your first nade just like you would if you were priming normally.
6. Now quickly get rid of 2 primed nades!
I'll bet you'll blow yourself up half the time you try this, and it's not much faster than priming them both seperately, but it is funny trying to get rid of both of them before they go off in your face.
Oh, and I imagine 90% of people know this, but I didn't until about a month ago, you can prime an Axis nade pretty easily by grabbing it in mid-air when you first go to throw it. Just look straight ahead and tap your use-key as you release. No need to bounce it off a wall or grab it off the ground. (A variation of this with Allies 'nade is to look down and tap use quickly, you can sometimes grab the nade out of mid-air.)
Ok, that's all my nade-priming tricks. _________________ -EvilGenius V$^PK

What can I say, you're a genius! That totally makes sense. I couldnt understand why i didnt see the arm swing on the actual nade toss. TY for clearing that up. _________________ =(M)-(M)= Mal n the m00bs - TVC 06 finalists
