I'm gonna try to make it....
I've heard of half-life tv or something like that, does that record everything that happens on the server? Is there some special set up? It might be fun to have that turned on for one of these whakem nights....
of course we could all record demos too...
maybe we can have low-g knife fights too!?

hltv allows for people to spectate the match without being in the server, for example, tv3 has one, just add server1.foothillsolutions.net:27020 to your fav. servers, or connect to it, join the "game" and spectate. There is a delay on it of 60 seconds I believe.
It is possible to get a hltv demo, I am not sure how that is done though.
(this HLTV is being tested by Shen, he set it up and all, so I am sure he would appreciate feedback  )

i only worry about not being able to get in.  think it will get full?
also, i have neve done one of these before, is it public? or how do they work otherwise.

| If you are in HLTV spectating, just record a demo as if you are in the game and it records an HLTV demo, which does record everything that happens. I know a server can record a demo without anyone spectating, but I do not know how. Ask Strongbad/Kubrick and he could tell you. |

This will be a public event, all can come. TV5 holds 26 people, so we should have some breathing room. Oh and don't worry if outsiders log on and are not willing to follow the rules with the Rocket/Whackem, they will be packing their bags

you think that you can just put a password on it? from my experience when there isnt one, people will come in and dont listen anyway. i know they can get the boot, but whackem nights are more fun without any interuption in the whacking goodness
