I build up computers and give them to low income families for the kids to do school work on.

I try to give the better units to the teenagers with theville.org in the favorites.

All I ask is that the give me an old PC if they can.

You wouldn't believe the look of the inside of some of them.

I had one that looked like a whole can of soda dropped inside.

BTW I got a 486 laptop from gateway with a dead monitor.
Any good way to get a replacement?
I dont have all the spec's right now but matbe a site for old parts?

You havent seen dirty untill youve opened up an old DX2-50 MHZ pc that was sitting in a grain elevators office for 8 years :O. when I saw that thing there was so much dust and junk in there I dont know how the fans would even turn.
