It's compressed with Divx 5.0.5 and is 2 minutes 30 seconds long.

Gah! What is it with you hippies? I just finished my "real" video tonight and I'm messing around with compression but my filesize is like 50% bigger than yours. Can you PM me the details on what you used and how you managed to get it so small?

well, wait till you see how it looks, I don't mind it being a little on the low side if it keeps my provider happy.

Resolution is at 640x512, sound at 44khz. used Divx on their "home theater" profile. Sound is a little bad, video is a little bad, but it being only 45MB for 2.5 minutes I'll live with it.

Good stuff! It's crazy and I like it. And I didn't know you BAR whored, that's extra points. I agree with SB, it's very sexy BAR-work.

But please tell me you're not running Fraps while playing. :O Is that your normal FPS?

I didn't realize I had left my little netgraph until after I was done capturing all my video. ><

Normal FPS is 50-60 @ 1280x1024 or 60-72 @ 1024x768

To capture I record demos of a full map's play time and then use viewdemo to snag the good parts.

And yeah, FRAPS really kicks the crap out of your framerate.

That was a cool movie man. I liked the bar staring. Maybe I'll go back to my original DoD roots and try using it full time again.
