Lag SPIKES?

i have a problem, recently i've been hitting alot of lag spikes on tv1, 2 and 3..i dont know why i've been getting them but could you guys help me solve this problem?

Did you try doing a tracert to the servers giving you lag?

well not sure how to help ya. but i know that my cable internet has been giving me lag spikes also.

Check out a product called Visual Route, I think they have a demo copy you can download and it will help with tracing problems and such.

Are you fine to other servers and just have issues with those 3? It might not be the route but it in fact could be your PC. I found that leaving IRC running while playing caused me lag issues so now I try to close all apps and programs before gaming and that has helped keep my lag to a minimum.

Go to Start/Run
Type cmd and press enter
Type tracert tv1.theville.org (or the servers you are lagging on)

Look at results for high numbers or post the results here. This will tell you if there are network issues between you and the server.
