Can you help me??
I'm using outlook at work.
I have groups set up for jobs that need to get the same emails.
I also send the individuals in the group seperarte emails at times.
My history or sent file does not show the group name when it is sent that way, but by each individual member. So when I want to quickly look to see if a group mailing has been sent or research all the groups mailings it is difficult.
Is there a way to have these emails listed by the group name?? _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

Are you using outlook express??
I looked at two of my configs. I have an Excahnge 2003 server with Outlook 2002 and it lists by group. Then I have an Excange 5.5 server with Outlook 2000 and it lists by group.
I looked with my version of Outlook Express and it listed everyones email out of the group... with no group name.
I couldn't find a setting in Outlook that enables me to see the group name verses the addresses. That's why I asked if you are using express. _________________

We have Exchange 5.5 with Outlook 2000 and Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2002. In my sent items (Outlook 2002) it's resolved the group names from the GAL to the individual names. _________________

Yeah mine does the same thing but it's never bothered me. I thought that was Exchange's default setting. _________________

there is a way to customize what columns are shown. i dont know off hand how to do it, but look for a 'customize fields' in the menus, or right click on the header row (where you see from, subject, date, .....) and see if there is a customize there. ill check when i get home and maybe get back to ya. |
