Do any of you guys use bloodpatches? I got one yesterday, and i must say, it adds a lot to my game! Check out this pic of a guy on Jagd!

an out of date one

its an asylum 5200 ultra i believe...its still a 256MB card. maybe i didnt set something right? i needa get one of those sexy $500 ones! ...or i should just configure my gfx card!
EDIT: ok i just figured out i was running in 800X600 res. and my color was 16 bit. now, should i change from OpenGL to D3D or Software? Thanks guys

Heh. My Geforce 2 GTS has better image quality than your fx 5200? wtf?

clay, it might also be cause he shrunk the image down and the aspect ratio isnt correct. he had to make it fit in the thread so thats probably why.

it happens alot, especially when a screeny is in bmp file format.

there are 2 blood patches, im going to try th other one pretty soon! I chose the top bloodpatch, the one below (which has more Downloads) i'm trying later. The site is german, so where it says: 'DL: Hier' just click the heir and go from there!

also know that this is not what every death looks like, they edited the bodies that are already there in the game, like the soldier i put on the screenshot. he was just a model on the map. But, the patch does add a gushing effect when someone gets hit! For example, i shot a guy in the neck, and blood sprayed a couple of feet

EDIT: Worked like a charm. I now throw up 2 foot tall blood fountains when I die.

no problem, just replace all the files with the new ones, or just add the new files where they are in the download to your current steam folders

which steam folder? (what do I do after downloading?)
