Well, I have just spent the past 5 hours of my life trying to salvage my junk heap of a computer.

I had been having trouble with windows 2000 and half-life, so of course I was all for reinstalling win 98SE in order to play it. Then I found out that I would need to reformat my hard drive in order to DOWNgrade my operating system. I was ready to do it, so I had a friend of mine wrestle with my machine (my floppy drive doesn't work anymore so we couldn't use a boot disk) And he finally tricked windows 2000 into formatting my drive. So, starting with a clean hard drive, I proceeded to install win98. When I got around to installing my ethernet card and setting up my internet, I noticed that windows would crash everytime I opened IE.

So, it was back to the drawing board. I decided once and for all to go to 2k and stick with it. If nothing else, it ran smoother than 98 ever did, so that is where I am now.

I am slowly but surely setting my stuff up, and I believe that I am gonna take a break from TFC until next week. You see, I have been in the process of applying for major this past month (industrial Design) and it is due on monday the 11th. Also, I have an Anthropology midterm on wednesday, a Statistics midterm on monday, and a Persian Mythology midterm on Tuesday. I think a week with no TFC is worth a spot in my major, and some good grades in my classes.

Lol, maybe you should stop playing TFC for a month, and see how our grades look then?

Just a suggestion

Brains are over rated. They don't leave much of a gib splatter.
Good luck in your test and such.
Thank god there was no TFC when I was in school, The girls were distracting enough, TFC would of been to much.

TFC ? Roof, they barely had computers when you went to school. And personal gaming computers ??? NO WAY... I'll bet you played pong for hours on end though

Ha Ha Ha
My Grad date from HS 1965.
One of the most decimated graduating classes in the VietNam War era.

Heck the Radar set I worked on in the USAF only had 4 transistors everything else was Tubes. A whole lot of tubes.
