Whats happening to my minimap?

Why is it that teammates are not showing up on my map? They pop in and out of existance on the map, and it seems to be related to whether or not they're in my line of sight. Is this a 1.2 change? The change list doesn't say anything about the map...

actually sometimes i cant see prone teammates on my minimap

i had that problem. it was only showing the teammate if they were within a certain distance. maybe its an update? maybe a bug. dunno.

What's this minimap you speak of?

I always have mine off, I'd rather have the few extra fps then know where my teammates are.

Wow i don't know if i could live without my mini map. It's very usefull like if you see one of you guys die you know where to be carefull, or if you hear footsteps you can tell if it's your teams or your enemies.

Well, just like almost every other DoD problem I've had in the past, after trying everything I could think of to fix it and going insane in the process, a few days later I start up DoD and it seems to have just fixed itself. oh well....
