Lets not even talk about the so called free medical up here. Ya we do get it for minimal cost but the problem is when we get the attention needed, hopefully before we die. Just this week a major research company did a survey on the different medical systems worldwide. Canada spends the MOST per capita in the whole world and has close to the lowest return worldwide for the money put into it. Our system is broken and needs totally refurbishing. If we want or need something done in a hurry we pay private facilities to take care of us or use there equipment.
I could go on and on about bullshit issues up here but it would take a week to type it. Lets just say if I had the chance I'd move stateside tomorrow. You guys have no idea how many tax breaks etc you get in comparision to CANUCKISTAN. _________________

seen this at work, thought you might like
You think a gallon of gas is expensive?
This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.
Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 .......... $10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 .......... $9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 .......... $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 .......... $10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ........... $33.60 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 .......... $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 ........... $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ........... $25.42 per gallon
Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 ........... $84.48 per gallon
And this is the REAL KICKER...
Evian water 9 oz $1.49.............$21.19 per gallon?!
$21.19 for WATER - and the buyers don't even know the source.
So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on
water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismal or Nyquil.
Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump... _________________

gas prices here are around the 2 dollar mark and i should know cause i work in a gas station. lol. oh and giz i noticed your sig. i cant wait.
As for the gas prices. i know at our gas station we sell it as low as we can. we only make about 2-3 cents per gallon. thats all the higher we sell it above wholesale. so basically the cost to maintain pumps and everything is all we get out of selling gas. go figure. at our gas station per day about 2-3 grand goes through there on a slow day. and we get to keep less than 40.00 on a grand |
