| The MP40 is the crappiest Axis gun. The K43 is just a Garand that you can reload and can't buttsmack with (until 1.2 omgomgogm). Identical characteristics. |

mp40 is nice. it's a headshot machine. not alot of people know how to use it but i've seen guys totally rape ass with it because they are good shots and the recoil is a piece of cake.
i don't like the k43 the way it is now. i can't explain why but i find the garand more reliable. i think it's because the garand is a spam gun and has the smack.
the worst axis gun is the 34. why choose 34 when you could have 42? there is no damn reason to use the mg34 at any time.

It takes 3x the time to reload a k43 compared to a garand, and it seems to be less accurate to me. I actually drop the k43 in favor of the garand if I can pick one up. |

unless there is a class restriction of 2 and there are already 2 42's.....I did that once, 34 sux

Never use the 34, even if you can't be the 42 class. Just pick a class with a grenade and pick up a 42 laying around.
I only pick up a garand if I feel like cracking a few skulls. |

duh, now I feel stupid  even more so is that I normally can't tell you which gun is which by looking at it. give me a break though as I just started playing fps games this year. normally played stuff like age of mythology stuff.

DOD is the first FPS I've played since the Doom series. I've only been playing DOD since October of last year. The transition from RTS to FPS wasn't that hard for me. Playing an RTS requires just as much control and precision an FPS does. |

I actually prefer the 34 to an mg42. It fires more accurately when deployed, doesn't overheat, and is just as efficient at killing people. Only problem is that it's harder to rambo with, and you can't shoot through every single wall in the game 
MP40 is also my favorite smg. It owns hardcore.
I want to know why there isn't an award for the carbine though. Carbine > anything else
BTW, the allied mg is undoubtedly the worst gun in the game. No accuracy, fires slow, can't rambo, and can't shoot through any walls.
