Frag...new ville only clan & TVB-NSA merger. Please read pag

This is a clan/guild I envision that will be for fun like TPF. I think we could use this for the ville regulars who find this to be their home and play for the fun of being here. I'd like to keep it from 20-30 members. I do have the ability to communicate through ICQ, AOLIM, MSNIM, Yahoo, E-Mail, and these messageboards. I would require you to have ICQ or at least a secondary e-mail (eg hotmail) if you were to be a member of this new frat/guild. I will take care of the rosters, a website is uncertain just as of yet. If it gets going well it could happen...we'll see on that.

I will ask people I think who are qualified to join in the next few days. You may ask me if you are interested. I'm not going to let just anyone in though to get numbers.

Again I have no aspirations of league play. I want to make that clear. Maybe an interville match down the road if all goes well.

Sounds like a great idea, especially if fun is the operative word. Hopefully the response to this is good enough that you could put together a few clans/guilds, so nobody feels left out.

I think it would be really cool to just have a bunch of regulars sign up for it, and then divide them evenly into groups. You could split it up so each team got a fair mix of headcutting veterans and enthusiastic noobs. Then we could have some sort of league night and have clan wars just for the fun of it. The key would be to make it fun, and not a hyper-competitive thing. You might do that by keeping everyone guessing - like not telling them what map they were playing on this week, or pulling out an all-Scout or low gravity week.

Frag, are you leaving PWG??? If so, Im sure they are sad to lose you. But actually, what you are doing is pretty much what NSA is. Im sorry, but believe me, if I wasnt already in NSA, I would totally join. And unfortunately, I dont have ICQ. Even if I did get it, I dont think that it would be of any use. I only use the internet to play TV, and come here.

Perhaps you should consider Che as your new name....the people seem to be willing to pick up arms to follow you and your cause!

All fear Frag and his cult of personality! Actually, it's a great idea to have a new clan, especially with a knowledgable veteran like Frag leading the way.

There are a lot of tiny, sort of elite clans around here. A lot of those are made up of friends, so I respect that. But when I first came here, I was a newbie and didn't know anyone. When I got that <NSA> tag, it made me feel like I was accepted somehow, both as a decent player and as a person. That's probably why I still wear the NSA tag.

So I hope you don't limit your group to long-time veterans, Frag. There are a lot of dedicated players here who would probably very much like to be "part of the club". I've always wanted to do that myself, in fact. Start a little clan for some of the Ville misfits. Someday . . . .
