Will be banned no questions asked. Anyone else using that name will be banned no if's and's or but's. To the players using that name, it's not even close to being sick humor. Last thing, F*** YOU to you three using that name! If you want to check their ID's out, do a name search on the stats.

F*** this s*** I ain't gonna take that

Chris/FF

That is terrible. I noticed that the first one to use that name here was a pyro even. That is sick and will not be tolerated by me or the other admins i'm sure.

I banned all 3 on theville #3

If you have not already done so:

Can one of you good admins take a look at the list of people using bin laden and ban accordingly.

I saw that a*******'s name thoughout the weekend in one form or another - its been used about 30 times - Admitedly some of these sicko's have already been banned.

Many Thanks,
Ap.

As much as I dislike that terrorist, I find it very difficult to hate him or his name. Hatred resolves nothing. As a people we are very narrow-minded here, we neglect to acknowledge that this happens everywhere around the world (although not necessarily on this scale) and that some people deal with these things EVERY DAY. My AP histroy teacher gave a magnificent speech on our retaliation and I quote ". . . the saddest thing that occurred was that mothers had to explain to their children that their fathers were gone for good and that they'd never be coming back. When I got home today, I hugged my two children and knew that I was lucky. I hope and pray that if we retaliate, that mothers will not have to tell their children that their fathers were taken, lost forever and ever. I pray we do not start a war of hatred and that you all will leave here with a greater respect for the rest of the world and that you will learn not to hate but to understand and reason before coming to a conclusion. Never hate, it is the ignorance of man that produces conflict." I ask you to understand and reason. Delete this post if you wish, I felt that I had to post this because I see too many people looking to hatred rather than reason in this time of crisis.

Please be careful not to judge those of us who choose to support a response to these attacks as those who are full of hate. I don’t believe that to be the case. Was it hate that forced us to respond to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? No, it simply presented a threat to our way of life, much like this does. What price do you put on your safety? What about your children’s safety, or mine? I will not waste my time trying to understand the motives of those who would deny us the right to exist?

So on one hand I can follow your train of thought in calling for moderation and understanding in our response. The wrong response could cause more problems than it solves, but there MUST be a response and if that response causes the loss of life then so be it.

As for the name, please realize that the name represents a person who is directly responsible for the death of thousands of innocent Americans. That name is responsible for the now motherless or fatherless children of those who were murdered. Don’t kid yourself, that name means something. It is neither clever or funny to use it as your handle. They deserve a ban as well as a greater understanding of just what they were doing and it's symbolism.

Hate is ignorant. A military response to an attack is not. If you don't agree that's cool.

Bak why do you think someone would delete your post?? You have valid points there. Just because someone's thoughts differ from a majority Does Not mean they are wrong.

If Anything differing opionions Need to be heard in a time like this to keep us thinking and questioning what we think is right, and thus preventing us all from falling under the same mindset.

Challenge authority; question the establishment.

These players and I ran into two of them. They used this name to purposely irk all of us and throw it in our face. This isn't about hate. This is about a man, Bin Laden, who wants to destroy anyone not following his religious way. Kinda sounds like genocide from Hitler, except this is religious. This includes every American and our way of life. Could we have a bit more morality? Sure, but no society is 100% perfect.

Let this be know that Bin Laden is an EXTREME faction of Muslim and not the general view of all Muslims.
