Alright I am going to administer this test, and since I am the teacher I cannot give you the answer... really.
Lets say you have a machine that recently received the "Overflow Channel" error mentioned in a previous thread. That specific error has seemed to disappear after the advice of cobra, but now the said machine has another issue.
When a game is being joined on said machine I can get.... I mean the user can get to the welcome screen of the server. However, it seems really slow and background noises repeat over and over (like stuttering)seems like lag type issues. After waiting, or clicking on "OK", the user is kick from the server and back to his/her desktop, on said machine.
Thier connection is cable, what is the solution to this individuals problem?
I want all answers written below or sent by PM, ASAP. This is a pass or fail grade, there is no in between. I'm not one to drop names, Jfet, but any answer that talks about the size of my "pipe" being the issue will be disregaureded and severe punishment will occur if said machine can get onto a DoD server..... seriously I'm not kidding around people..... really. _________________

Have you tried deleting clientregistry.blob file yet ?
Make sure that your connection is DSL 786k and not 14.4 or 33.6 ? _________________ <eVa>Simpleman-V$=<RIP> |

I would try this first. If these settings are not where they need to be then it can definately choke up your connection. _________________
