Phuck Walmart
They move into a town, drop their prices so low that they lose money, but since they are making so much everywhere else, it doesn't matter. Then, when all the local businesses can't compete and go bankrupt, Walmart jacks up their prices because there is no longer any competition.
This is just one of the reasons to hate Walmart. Want to read more? http://www.walmartsucks.com/ _________________ Amen!

yup, thats one of the things I hate about big businesses. Personally I try and shop the local ppl as much as possible cause its what gives money in our community. Not the stores like walmart, Circuit City etc etc. Even though I did buy my laptop and camera at CC. |

Regardless, I don't think we should complain too much. It is the year 2004. That's supposed to be scary isn't it? People used to show so much fear toward this decade.
That is to say: the world's largest corporation isn't some megalomanical shady mind control drug monopolizing corporation ala Perfect Dark's DataDyne. Ya know? Instead of having commercials that infuse fear into our minds they've got a yellow smiley-face that zips around Zorro style offering you low-low prices on basic consumer products. Woot in a way. |
