temporal question

ok i was watching the movie returner at school today and it had a lot of time travel questions popping up(as one of the ppl who kinda know about time travel i was trying to answer them) but anyways here is my question

if u go back in time to stop something(war) and the reason u built the time machine was for that purpose once u stopped the cause of the start of the war u would have created a temporal paradox correct.

ok so in the movie she goes back in time and when she stops the start of the war fades out of existance so wouldnt that have ment that she couldnt have gone back in time to stop a war that she was sent back in time to stop...also if she went back in time during the time she was sent back(i.e. 2 of here in the same place at the same time) wouldnt that create more temporal inversions.

and anything that she took back in time to help her with wouldnt that dissappear when her mission was completely like she did

ok all i wanted was ur feed back on these questions...the only thing i can think of is they recreated the technology and science and she went back in time to stop the "heros" death(i.e. the second reason she went back in time)

watch the movie The Time Machine with Guy Pierce... they explain the whole time travel delema....in the Time Machine.. Guy goes back in time to save his lover from her death.... but every time he goes back.. .. she ends up dying a new way.... so he travels to the future to figure out why.... she kept dying.... ..... so pretty much its what you said... .. its like.. what cant exsist.. must exsist... and what must exsist cant exsist....

you cant change what happend... only the future...i think...

well what I understand.. latest discovery channel show... is that any time machine would only go back as far as when it was created.

Plus any changes would not have an effect because it had already happened

Everything about time travel and related topics are completely speculation. Until we actually try it nothing is fact, just theory.

For instance a lot of crazy ideas about what would happen when they set off the first Atomic Bomb persisted until they got it to go off. Things like "It'll ignite the atmosphere and burn the world" or "It'll set off a chain reaction and destroy the universe" "..split the world in half.." "Won't do anything at all" "Will split a dimensional hole.."

As for being able to travel further back in time, changing history or any of those other things, all of it may, or may not be able to happen. Nobody can know right now.

Every science fiction about it and theory about it has as much credibility as any other right now.

lol i saw a movie in history about the a bomb a while ago and it was funny how after the first test went off they thought that plastic bags on their feet would keep the radiation out

but even if time travel is just speculation and theory still what are ur ideas on the theory of time travel.

paradoxes are so much fun wit all there contradictions
